Domestic Shipping Costs

Shipping and handling charges listed at the cart level apply to the contiguous United States only. Alaska and Hawaii orders will be e-mailed a shipping quote based on the weight and dimensions of the packages. FloatingToys.com reserves the right to limit quantities and or charge actual shipping charges on bulk orders and shipments over 20 pounds.

APO, FPO, and P.O. Box orders are shipped via US Postal Service.

Invalid or incorrect addresses are subject to an additional fee of $10.00 that will be charged to the credit card upon notification from the shipping company. No refunds on shipping cost unless FloatingToys.com is responsible for the error.

Orders place by 1:00PM E.S.T. are generally shipped the same day. In the unfortunate event a product is out of stock a FloatingToys.com sales rep will contact you.

*Disclaimer - Orders shipped via the U.S. Postal service must be paid for by Visa, MasterCard, or Discover...or by check or money order by mail. We cannot accept American Express as a method of payment if the order is being shipped with the U.S.P.S.

SmartPost
SmartPost is a more cost-effective way of sending out shipments that aren't necessarily time-sensitive where FedEx, after carrying shipments to the final destination zip code, tenders Ground deliveries over to local Post Offices for final delivery. SmartPost is more for shipping out smaller, lighter packages. SmartPost is rated as a 5-10 business day service. However, it can often take as little as 2 business days for shipments sent out via the SmartPost service to be delivered. SmartPost has proven to be an incredibly reliable service. But, lost shipment claims on any package sent out using the FedEx SmartPost service will not be considered until after 30 days from the original ship date.


Guaranteed Express Shipping Upgrade
FloatingToys.com offers an express shipping upgrade on in stock product. Saturday delivery available for an additional cost. Saturday delivery orders must be phoned in and must be place by 12:00PM on Fridays. Express guarantee is for business days. Holidays, weekends and severe weather excluded. No refunds on shipping upgrade costs unless FloatingToys.com is responsible for the error or the shipping carrier is at fault. FloatingToys.com reserves the right to limit quantities and or charge actual shipping charges on bulk orders and shipments over 20 pounds. Some items may not be available for express upgrades. Heavy and oversized orders may require additional shipping charges. 

Order Tracking
All orders that have a valid e-mail address will automatically receive a package tracking e-mail. This is your confirmation that your order has shipped. If you do not receive a tracking number e-mail, please check your account profile (Account) for an error in your e-mail address. FloatingToys.com does not generate tracking information until your order is actually shipped. For our friends with out e-mail, feel free to call us at 770-420-9240 and we will gladly track your order.

International, Alaska and Hawaii Shipping
FloatingToys.com offers several discounted international shipping options.

Please e-mail us your complete shipping address along with your country and postal code to sales@FloatingToys.com to recieve current shipping rates. You will be e-mailed a shipping quote based on the information provided. If you have already placed your order online, a FloatingToys.com sales rep will e-mail you several discounted shipping options. FloatingToys.com is not responsible for any fees, taxes or duties assessed by your country. Heavy and oversized orders are subject to a shipping cost adjustment.

Canadian Shipments
We are a registered Non-Resident Importer with FedEx Trade Networks.  This means that our Canadian customers will enjoy the following benefits on all orders shipped to Canada via the FedEx International Ground service:

-Simplified invoicing.
-No hassle delivery.
-Lower cost of delivery.

All brokerage fees, customs, taxes, and duties are prepaid to us at a flat rate of $15 per shipment plus 20% of the invoice price...which we, in turn, remit to the Canadian customs officials.  No longer will your gear be held up while you work out payment for the fees associated with bringing products into Canada.  Your order will be delivered directly to you as if it were being delivered to an address within the United States.

Orders shipped using the U.S. Postal Service are estimated for delivery within 10 business days. However, sometimes it can take a while longer than that. Use this service at your own risk...as packages shipped via the U.S.P.S. are not traceable and are not insured.

Preauthorization of Credit Cards:
At the time that your order is submitted, the credit card that was used to make the purchase is preauthorized for the full amount.  At the time that your order is fulfilled, this preauthorized transaction is "captured" and converted into an actual charge.  In the event that the final order total is less than the initial preauthorized amount (such as in the case where items are canceled from the order), the resulting "captured" charge will be less than the initial preauthorized amount.  In the event that the final order total is more than the initial preauthorized amount (such as in the case where items are added to the order), the initial preauthorized amount will be "captured" with the balance being charged in the form of a new transaction.  If an order is canceled, the original preauthorization will be dropped from the credit card account within a period of 2-10 business days...depending on how your issuing bank operates.


Lost/Missing Shipments
Lost or missing shipments must be reported to www.floatingtoys.com within five business days of the expected delivery date.  Should our shipping company show the lost or missing package as delivered, you will need to sign an affidavit attesting to the fact that the package was indeed not received by you.  Any unreported lost or missing shipments are the responsibility of the customer and www.floatingtoys.com shall assume no liability for unreported missing or lost shipments.


Lost shipment claims on any package sent out using the FedEx SmartPost service will not be considered until after 30 days from the original ship date.


Damaged Shipments
Should you receive any product that has been damaged in shipping, please call or email us immediately.  It is important that you do not discard the damaged packaging.  We will have the shipment carrier pick up the damaged package and we will send out a replacement when the damaged item is received and inspected at our warehouse.  All damage claims must be reported within five business days of receipt of goods.  Any claims reported after five business days are subject to denial.
